My 4-year old, 200 pound Old English Mastiff's left elbow became so uncomfortable Maximus wouldn't put weight on it. My veterinarian found a chip and told us that surgery was the only way to deal with the chip. While we knew that was true, we were reluctant to undergo anesthesia and surgery even though our vet is really good. We tried LubriSyn CA and his elbow is comfortable enough now that he is no longer lame. I know that the chip and elbow disease are still there, but by providing him with support for his joint fluid, he's walking on all four legs again.

I have been using LubriSyn CA for almost a year now for my dogs. I have two Akitas that both have had ACL/CCL surgery on both back legs. Neither one had perfect outcomes and they suffer from limping, swelling, and stiffness. The LubriSyn CA has really made a difference in their mobility. Lightening is 14 years old and has a severe case of arthritis, as diagnosed by her vet and confirmed by x-rays. I have tried several oral medications on her with little to no relief. I started Lightening on LubriSyn CA at the end of December of 2004 and noted that she seemed to be in less discomfort. At that time, I was giving her a single dose daily. In March, I was told to give the same dose but twice a day. She responded and seemed to be able to move better with less discomfort. In April, I was told that I could resume the once a day dose.

I am pleased to say that although she still has the arthritis and some pain, she is moving about better and at times feels like a puppy again. At the suggestion of her vet, I started her on some new food products put out by Hills and Eukanuba made especially for dogs with arthritis. The vet thought if the LubriSyn CA and the special food could be given together, it could be even more beneficial. I find that this is true. Lightening is doing well with the LubriSyn CA and the addition of the special food appears to make her more comfortable and able to move about easier.

I would like to thank you for allowing me the privilege of trying LubriSyn CA for my dog Lightening. The last 6 months for her, life has had a better quality than before the LubriSyn CA.
