The effectiveness of LubriSyn CA is derived from a high-molecular-weight hyaluronan. Hyaluronan is a naturally-occurring part of joint fluid and almost all other body tissues.

LubriSyn CA is an odorless, tasteless, colorless oral gel. Its main component is hyaluronan, which is absorbed from the intestinal tract and provides support for joints of all conditions. Because the hyaluronan in LubriSyn CA is extracted from a non-animal source, it is free of protein and other glycosaminoglycan contamination. Hyaluronan has been used in veterinary and human medicine for decades. But, LubriSyn CA is for oral administration!

LubriSyn CA can be safely used in all breeds and ages of pets. It has been given to dogs at five times the recommended dose with no adverse affects. There have been no side effects observed in field studies, and there are no known contraindications. LubriSyn CA can be used in conjunction with both injectible hyaluronan and oral joint supplements such as glucosamine or chondroitin sulfate.

Joint Fluid. All of the movable joints in the body are bathed and supported in joint fluid. This very special liquid is made by cells in the tissues surrounding the joint. The primary component is hyaluronan. Hyaluronan is the primary component in the joint fluid that cushions and lubricates the joint cartilage surfaces.
